The unique object LIKO-NOE's successful trial run

From our news you had the opportunity to get acquainted with our unique object LIKO-NOE that was designed by Czech architect Zdenek Fránek, who grew up in Slavkov, next to our company premises. It is a world new prototype of a commercial building that uses only energy derived from natural resources and its natural purification system also works with water alone! The facade of the building is made out of a green meadow, and a part of the building is the root wastewater treatment plant and a retention pond surrounded by extensive greenery. We are trying to give back to nature the wealth that humanity had taken from it over the years. Watch the video here

LIKO-Glass is design glass with wide range of use. We can divide it into 4 categories:GRAPHIC GLASS - Graphical glass with an infinite number of themes, designs and photographs,STRUCTURE GLASS - The glass covering 3D objects such as fabrics, textures and tiny objects,LCD GLASS - Glass with variable light transmittance, also known as digital blinds,EVALAM FOIL - Combining two glasses using Evalam foil and subsequent overlamination gives the ability to create safety glass with four hundred different shades of colors and different light transmittance. Our first project in USA is completed!

Our team recently returned from New York, with several new experiences. Firstly, we have successfully completed our 1st project in the USA which boast over 450 m2 of solid and glass partitions. To date, this project has the largest installation of Vacuwall (one of our newest product). In addition to our experiences on site and complying with American norms, our team had the opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of one of the most popular city in the world.

We supply our first moveable partitions in USA!

Now we realize a supply and installation of adjustable partitions OMEGA and VACUWALL for the company MEOPTA USA. This is the first contract that LIKO-S supplies in the America. Realization takes place in New York in Long Island as part of reconstruction of headquarters and as a preparation for project organized by the Czech family Rausnitz and AMSP - MEOHUB.Look at the picture on the second page ...

Visit and technical schooling for our German export partner

LIKO-S export team has recently organised an intensive technical meeting for our partner from Lüdenscheid in Germany (Mr. Dirk van Aerschot) – in compliance with our goal to fully support our export partners. The 3 days schooling was dedicated to knowledge improvement of our partition planning software, getting familiar with our new products Vacuwall and SMART-i-WALL and visit of the unique project LIKO-NOE on top of that.

Our compatriots from Ukraine like in our company

LIKO-S has offered five compatriots from Ukraine, where is war now, jobs in manufacturing. Our offer is a good opportunity to integrate into Czech society through work. Compatriots are working on positions as, locksmith, welder, painter, fitter. Our company Liko-s helped them to start, we provide the necessary support in the areas of accommodation, food support, communication etc. so that they can focus on their integration in the likos team and take the offered opportunity. During these three months they must absorb knowledge in welding, machining, blasting, painting, cutting, bending.

Commercial and friendly visit to the Republic of Rwanda

Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Mr. Martin Coufal is now on business meeting in Rwanda, which has one of the fastest growing economies in Africa. He had a lot of successful meetings during these two days with few local companies, including one of the largest construction companies in Rwanda - Crystal Ventures in the capital Kigali, which was attended by our Indian partner CS Prakash and his colleague. Representatives of companies were interested in our walls LIKO-form and also in new mobile walls VACUWALL. One of the companies that builds a hotel, were interested in our unique project LIKO-NOE.Very warmly invited them the Minister for Education - Mr. Albert Nsengiumva. "The Minister is an amazing person with a great overview. He knows Prague, President Havel, our currency, about the number of inhabitants. We made a good impression because he has already met us twice and promised us to arrange another meetings on Friday with potential partners”, shared with us his immediate experience Martin Coufal.Look at the picture on the second page of the news...

Engineering solution

In our design department was created a new pressing tool for progressive forming. Based on customer demand, we have designed molds, which we machined on our CNC machines produced a fine and smooth fit. The customer required shape forming that was specified on drawings.We used our knowledge in latheing materials and know-how in turning hardened components.Therefore we come to boldly offer our customers engineering work in the strictest mechanical engineering - Tool making.

A great success of our newest products at BAU 2015 in Munich

Our newest products SMART-i-WALL® and VACUWALL® got interest of most visitors who attended BAU 2015. The interactive wall SMART-i-WALL® is a revolutionary glass partition in its field because image can be projected on it, it can also be controlled by touch and at the same time the whole partition is becoming a speaker. New investment in CNC flat material rolling machine

We have bought new CNC rolling machine for rolling flat material.We will shorten delivery time and will have complete process under control. We are widening our range of capabilities to be self sufficient (photo on the other side of the news). We believe that this technology will open a new field of possibilities and new satisfied customers.Parameters of rolled material maximum thickness 10 mm in length 2550 mm, number of rollers 4.

New investments in the field of metrology

With the increasing diversity of products we supply to our satisfied customers, we decided to further significant investment. We bought a new laser rangefinder, which automates the work of employees in the production and subsequent control activities. His contribution also see an increase in much needed accuracy. Another great strength of our equipment is also a new set of three-point micrometers. Our machine shop and got a tool to expand production capabilities. Perhaps the biggest benefit for our machine shop is a digital roughness tester. With this apparatus, we can guarantee our customers the required quality of machined parts.We believe that these investments will be able to more quickly and better meet the demands of our business partners.
