From the far north
Environmental degradation and climate change pose an existential threat to us. One of the countries that is actively trying to combat this problem is Finland. It is strongly oriented towards innovation and green transformation, and sustainability is therefore a major focus in this country.
It finds inspiration on how to help our planet in a variety of places, and its interest in climate change adaptation has led Finnish agronomists to Slavkov u Brna. They were intrigued by the concept of our Living Buildings, which can easily combat heat islands and effectively help cool urbanised areas.
