The main architectural intention of the interior reconstruction of the Technical Testing Institute in Piešt'any was to implement the company's philosophy of openness and reliable partnership with clients and employees.
"Therefore, we decided to open up and connect the originally brick-enclosed spaces by using MICRA II frameless glass partitions, which were the most suitable for our purpose aesthetically, acoustically and economically. With the glass partitions we achieved light penetration through the building into every space, while maintaining acoustic and intimate working comfort in the offices and reception area," said the author of the project Ing. arch. Csaba Ambrus from Adif.
To acoustically and visually soften the spaces, wood panelling, SilentPET slatted and circular acoustic ceilings, a moss image with the TSU logo and a distinctive atypical accent with a quarter-round rounded glass corner in the small meeting room were chosen to complement the hard glass materials. MICRA II glass partitions with digital blinds are used to separate the director's office from the attached rooms.
