The VSEI is the employers' association in the electrical and telecommunications installation industry. It is organized as an association and has 19 autonomous sections with approximately 2,000 members in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The VSEI serves to "protect and promote the political and economic interests of the electrical installation industry and telematics”. It offers its services in German, French and Italian. Customers are VSEI member companies and non-members (eg, electrical installation companies, electric planners, electricity plants, non-industry businesses, schools, public authorities, etc.). Core functions are advocacy and training. The main tasks are industry policy, training policy, social policy and service policy.
